User Feedback
"one of my favorite programs :)"
"Longtime TTS tinkerer here. After bouncing among Intelligent Speaker, Narro, NaturalReader, Speechify, and more, I’ve landed on Audioread as my daily driver. It nails what matters: modern, natural-sounding voices, real control over settings, and a rock-solid podcast feed I rely on every day. The browser extension just works (no random errors), support is responsive, and the devs are clearly active. It’s not quite a perfect five yet, there are a few small tweaks I’d love to see, but it’s a smart, fairly priced pick, especially if you listen as much as I do."
"This app just works. I am a lifelong learner and this tool makes it so easy to add content (including rss feeds, which I love) and listen to near-human sounding voices in SPOTIFY...not some junky player that isn't the focus of the developers. Audioread makes the great audio, and I listen in my podcast player with the rest of my audio content."
